Isang Himala was the film adaptation of the stage musical Himala: Isang Musikal, originally adapted from Ricky Lee’s 1982 classic. The story revolves around Elsa, who tells her town that she has seen a vision of the Virgin Mary. Soon, townsfolk and visitors alike flock to Cupang, convinced that Elsa can heal their sicknesses.
The film was an official entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival 2024. During the awards ceremony, it garnered five major awards: Best Picture (4th place), Special Jury Prize, Best Supporting Actress for Kakki Teodoro, Best Original Theme Song for "Ang Himala Ay Nasa Puso" (by Juan Karlos), and Best Musical Score for Vincent de Jesus.
