Sightlines Actors’ Space’s three-day workshop introduced Sanford Meisner’s acting approach to participants ad helped them apply these principles of storytelling while singing their chosen songs. The workshop was conducted by Dan Ansaldo, a Filipino performer and artist mental health coordinator based in New York City.

As the first offering of Dulaang UP’s DUP Studio, the Audition Masterclass gave participants the chance to learn how to create a memorable and effective audition from featured instructor and international actress Dolly de Leon.
The one-day workshop had its participants learn a monologue from a Virgin Labfest play that Dolly did and perform it in front of an audience. They received personalized feedback from the actress and had another chance to perform the monologue, applying her notes for the second round.
Bea was selected to be one of six participants to receive exclusive training from Dolly, along with being able to attend the open lecture session.
